what is regan movement?

Regan Movement is a somatic approach to movement the helps you build a body that is aligned, strong, and made to last.

Most of us spend our days sitting, rushing, holding tension, and repeating the same movement patterns. Over time, those habits pull us out of alignment, weaken key muscles, create unnecessary tension, and can lead to pain, poor posture, and limited mobility.

At Regan Movement, everything builds from the foundation.

You'll learn how to breath efficiently, improved your alignment, release tension, strengthen the muscles that support your body, and move with better mechanics. As your body becomes more balanced, your posture naturally improves, you build strength where you need it most, movement feels easier, and everyday activities become opportunities to reinforce healthy movement instead of unhealthy habits.

More importantly, you'll learn why. I believe everyone should understand how their body works, so my goal is to make you an educated mover, someone who knows how to breathe, stand, walk, lift, and move in a way that supports your body instead of wearing it down. Whether you're in a Pilates class, strength training, carrying your child, or moving through an ordinary day, you'll have the knowledge to move with confidence and build a body that keeps supporting you for life.

the regan method

Release. Reset. Revive.

Create space, build your foundation, and build your stronger body.Every class at Regan Movement follows the same philosophy. Before you can build a strong body, you first need to create the space to move well. Then, you restore alignment and build a solid foundation. From there you can confidently build lasting strength, resilience, and freedom of movement.

how does this work?

Release

Create space

If your back, hips, shoulders, neck, or feet always feel tight, you're not alone.
Modern life creates tension. Stress, sitting, repetitive movement, pregnancy, carrying children, injuries, inefficient breathing, and simply not moving our bodies in every direction all contribute to stiffness, restricted mobility, and poor alignment.

Through mobility, stretching, self release techniques, breathwork, and mindful movement, you'll actively release the tension that's limiting the way your body moves. As tension decreases, your body regains the space it needs to restore mobility, flexibility, better alignment, and ease of movement.
Everyone needs Release. It's where every journey begins.

Reset

Build your foundation

Once you've created space, it's time to rebuild.
Reset improves your alignment so your body can move and strengthen more efficiently. As your posture, rib cage, pelvis, and feet become more balanced, your glutes, deep core, diaphragm, and pelvic floor can finally work together, allowing you to build strength where you need it most while improving your posture and reducing unnecessary strain on your body.
As you build strength, you'll also learn how your body works, becoming an educated mover who knows how to breathe, stand, walk, lift, exercise, and move in ways that support your joints, protect your spine, and help you feel your best.
Reset is where your body begins building strength on a foundation that can truly support you.

Revive

Build your strongest body

You’ve created space, improved your alignment, and started to change the patterns that were holding you back. Now you can build strength on top of that foundation.

Revive takes the work into more intermediate, dynamic classes designed to challenge your strength, endurance, balance, coordination, and control. Some classes incorporate weights and added resistance, while others use your own body weight to create more intensity.

The focus is still on how you move. You’re building a body that feels strong and capable without giving up mobility, ease, or alignment.

This is where the work starts to feel more expansive. You can load better patterns, move with more confidence, and build lasting strength while staying supple, mobile, and connected to your body.

I have a studio in New York City, but the heart of my work now lives online at RMTV.
